Complaint Investigation Summary Report #: 5105 COMPLAINT ID: C00052461 Site Location: 19153 E GAWNE ROAD, STOCKTON, CA Activity Summary Activity Date Recorded by 08/25/2020 Retrieved voice mail from Jon Brower (Ag Commissioner's Office). He was MURO returning my call and asked that I call him back at 209-482-4295, and mentioned that he did not receive the email I sent last Thursday, Aug 20. Updated Lead Senior Elena Manzo. I forwarded the email I sent Thursday, Aug. 20 to his email address. I had emailed to jonathan.brower@sjgov.org, however, after checking the previous email he had responded to, I noted his CORRECT email isjbrower@sjgov.org. I spoke to Jon Brower on the phone, he confirmed receipt of the email. Jon Brower reported that the AG Commissioner's Office will not be pursuing this complaint. They only pursue pesticide related incidents. He told me his supervisor asked if they can have a copy of our report. I let him know I would check with my supervisor. I asked Lead Senior Elena Manzo if we can provide a copy of the complaint. She said when all is complete we can send them a copy of the complaint file. 09/16/2020 Site visit. Observed the white areas on the drainage ditch soil was significantly less MURO apparent. The water on the east drainage ditch bordering Gawne Rd near Country Rd had algae growth. As I was leaving the area, I observed a hose with an estimated six inch diameter that was positioned to drain into the drainage ditch on east side of Gawne Rd. I did not observe any liquid exiting the hose. Discussed with Lead Senior Elena Manzo. 09/17/2020 Emailed photos from 9-16-20 site visit to Elena Manzo. Searched parcel viewer MURO for parcel number and property owner for the property observed to have hose in drainage ditch: 19153 E Gawne Rd. 09/18/2020 Discussed the recent complaint findings of the disposition of the storm ditch and MANZO the finding of the discharge hose located in the close proximity of the ditch with M. Naidu (EHD Assistant Director). Per this discussion the complaint site address was changed from NEAR 19351 E Gawne Road to 19153 E Gawne Road, Stockton, CA. The change was made due to the presence of the discharge hose with the potential for a discharge. Since no impact to the storm drain ditch was observed during the most recent site visit, and no active discharge was noted from the said hose, the alleged complaint couldn't be verified at this time. As such, at this time, this complaint will be abated but may be reopened at a later date - if any additional information for any illicit discharge becomes available in the future. 09/23/2020 Completed three photo logs from three site visits. MURO Completed narrative. 12/21/2020 Review of file for abatement. Photo logs required more details. MURO 12/23/2020 Worked on file preparation for abatement.
