eekly Inspections <br />The AESC shall perform biweekly inspections of the Scale house, the Transfer <br />Building, and the Employee/Maintenance Facility for unsafe conditions. The <br />biweekly inspections include the following: <br />• <br />Are <br />exit doors marked? <br />• <br />Are <br />doors free of obstruction so they will open freely in an emergency? <br />• <br />Are <br />all fire extinguishers full, mounted, and readily accessible? <br />• <br />Are <br />First Aid Kits stocked and accessible? <br />• <br />Are <br />utility shut -offs accessible and unobstructed? <br />• <br />Are <br />the eye wash facilities working properly and unobstructed? <br />• <br />Are <br />walkways clear of obstruction? <br />• <br />Are <br />the lunchrooms free of toxic materials or other health hazards? <br />• <br />Are <br />there any spills that may be a hazard when walking? <br />• <br />Are <br />ladders in safe condition, and are ladder steps free of grease and oil? <br />• <br />Are <br />the step boxes stable? <br />• <br />Are <br />employees instructed to use safety devices? <br />6 <br />PREVENTION <br />STEPS <br />eekly Inspections <br />The AESC shall perform biweekly inspections of the Scale house, the Transfer <br />Building, and the Employee/Maintenance Facility for unsafe conditions.
