I visual alarm or stops the flow of the hazardous substance at the dispenser when it detects a Ieak as <br /> 2 required by the California Code of Regulations, title 23, section 2636(0(1). <br /> 3 q. In the event that corrective work is required to address the cause of <br /> 4 an alarm in the UST system, Defendants will complete the work promptly, consistent with all <br /> 5 applicable legal requirements. No person, agent, employee, or contractor, other than a Service Technician <br /> 14 meeting the requirements of California Code of Regulations title 23, section 2715(1), shall remove, <br /> 15 reposition,adjust,replace or otherwise touch or tamper with any leak-detecting equipment, including <br /> 16 but not limited to a leak-detection sensor that is part of a UST system such that the leak-detection <br /> 17 equipment is not capable of detecting a leak or release at the earliest possible opportunity,in violation <br /> 18 of California Code of Regulations, title 23, sections 2630(d) and 2641(a). <br /> 19 t. Defendants shall require every UST Facility employee to acknowledge in <br /> 20 writing that only a Service Technician meeting the requirements of California Code of Regulations <br /> 21 title 23,section 2715(f),can remove,reposition, adjust,replace or otherwise touch or tamper with any <br /> 22 leak-detecting equipment, no H&S employee shall disable or tamper with any UST automatic leak <br /> 23 detection system that would prevent the leak detection system from detecting a leak or alerting the <br /> 24 owner or operator of the leak, including but not limited to removing, repositioning, adjusting, <br /> 25 replacing or otherwise touching or tampering with any leak-detection sensor; and that doing so may <br /> 26 constitute a crime pursuant to Health and Safety Code §25299(f) and will result in that employee's <br /> 27 termination. <br /> 28 u.
