8.0 CONCLUSIONS This SSCR was prepared for Toni Raymus of Raymus Homes to identify evidence of any on-site or off-site, past or current, sources of contamination. Overall, the Site appears to be well maintained. An EDR regulatory database search was performed. The listings identified for the Subject Site all relate to the removal of the oily barrels previously mentioned. No potential sources of off-site contamination were identified. The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department will review this report and notify the property owner if any action is required at this time. 9.0 LIMITATIONS This SSCR has been prepared for the exclusive purpose of processing a land use application through the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). It is authorized for use only by the client and the EHD, and for a maximum period of six months from its date of completion. The standard of care employed is typical for this type of report. Bovee Environmental Management, Inc. does not represent that all existing or potential contamination has been identified, although an attempt has been made to identify typical contamination sources. The SSCR is a document specific to the San Joaquin County Development Title §9-905.12; it is not equivalent to a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), does not comply with ASTM E-1527-13, cannot be used to provide Landowner Liability Protections under CERCLA, and does not claim to identify "recognized environmental conditions." Any interested parties are advised to obtain a Phase I ESA before making decisions related to the presence or absence of recognized environmental conditions on the Site. This report is not to be used to determine compliance with local, State, or Federal requirements, including but not limited to water quality, septic system performance, waste discharge, and hazardous materials handling. This report relies on many sources; Bovee Environmental Management, Inc. cannot warrant the accuracy or completeness of information provided by those sources. Furthermore, no sample collection or analysis has been performed as part of this report. Without soil and groundwater analysis, all conclusions of this report should be considered professional opinion, not scientific certainty. Site conditions and regulatory guidelines are subject to change and may invalidate portions of this report. This report and its recommendations in no way fulfill or reduce the property owner's responsibilities related to the environmental management of the Site under local, State, and Federal law. Finally, many sources of contamination are identified by a typical SSCR. Although the EHD may not require a response to all conditions identified, Bovee Environmental Management, Inc. recommends that the client thoroughly consider all identified conditions and contact the EHD or our office for further guidance on any unresolved issues.
