7.0 IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES <br />The following sources of past, current, on-site, and off-site contamination have <br />been identified as a result of this assessment: <br />Identified Contamination Sources <br />No current contamination sources were identified. Past contamination of the soil <br />has been properly remediated. The material presented below is informational only. <br />The Site was developed for irrigated agriculture as early as 1937. The San <br />Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office has records of pesticide <br />usage on this Site for the three preceding years, from 2018 to the present. <br />No violations of pesticide regulations were noted. The oil drum <br />contamination discovered in 2019 has been properly remediated. (past and <br />current on-site) <br />2. Adjoining properties are identified as agricultural and residential uses. (past <br />and current off-site) <br />3. A domestic well serves the residence and the shop building. No irrigation <br />wells are located on the Site. (current on-site) <br />4. Agricultural irrigation infrastructure (SSJID pipeline) is present on the Site <br />from past and current farming operations. (past and current on-site) <br />Evaluation & Recommendations <br />Agricultural chemicals may remain in Subject Site soils from past uses. The <br />only way to determine the presence or absence of these chemical is by <br />testing and analysis. Typically, any such testing is conducted at the <br />property owner's discretion. Given that the current agricultural use is <br />expected to continue, testing is not recommended. <br />2. Based upon a review of the current regulatory agency data and assessment <br />of the subject property, it appears that the potential for adverse impacts to <br />the Subject Site due to current or past activities at the Site is low. <br />3.
