4. Violation 301: Submit a written statement documenting how you cleaned the oil spills and staining that <br />were found on top of and around the oil tank. Also, document how you managed the waste generated <br />from the spill clean-up, and submit disposal records for the spill clean-up waste. <br />The oil spills and staining that were found on top of and around the oil tank were cleaned with absorbent <br />(sand). Sand was placed on the stains for an hour and it was properly cleaned up. Sand was properly disposed <br />by Clean Earth San Joaquin County Facility. <br />5. Violation 505: Submit a written statement documenting if and how you will continue to use the used oil <br />tank. If the tank is not going to be reused to store used oil, and the tank is not cleaned, the tank must be <br />disposed of as hazardous waste. If the tank is going to be recycled as scrap metal, the tank must be cleaned <br />via triple rinsing. Submit a hazardous waste manifest for the disposal of the tank, or submit disposal <br />records/hazardous waste manifests for the rinse water and a receipt for the recycling of the tank. <br />The tank was triple rinse and properly disposed by Jim Thorpe Inc. As a business we will not be using the tank <br />therefore it was properly removed and disposed by Jim Thorpe Inc. All records will be kept on file. <br />6. Violations 601 and 605: Submit a hazardous waste manifest or consolidated manifest receipt for the <br />disposal of the 55 -gallon drum of waste antifreeze observed at the time of inspection. <br />A manifest receipt will be submitted for the disposal of the 55 -gallon drum that was observed at the time of inspection. <br />
