3-2 <br />The load checking program (Appendix E) is explained in detail to all site personnel who are <br />involved with the inspection of waste, including the gate attendant, load inspectors, RRF <br />workers, and equipment operators. These employees wi+l--also attend the "Basic a 24-hour <br />Hhazardous Ww aste -operations and safety course , as well as an annual refresher <br />courseA'Na reness Course" given by the San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services . The <br />course emphasizes familiarity with the types of containers and labels typically used for <br />hazardous waste and other materials. The course is repeated every six months. All new <br />employees are enrolled in the course at the earliest available class after tHeif-they are hireg . <br />Specific emergency response and evacuation procedures for all Forward employees and <br />members of the emergency response team are covered in the training sessions conducted at <br />the site throughout the year. A record of personnel training is maintained either at the RRF <br />or landfill administration office for future reference during facility inspections. <br />3.1.1.2 Emergency Contact (14 CCR.
