2-4 <br />2.4 Final DisposalServioe Area {14 CCR. Section 18221.6 (m)) <br />The final disposal of any residual wastes generated at the RRF are placed in a bin and <br />disposed of at the Forward Landfill working face.The materia ls generation area, 'Nhich is <br />served by the RRI=, includes various cities (Le., Stocl(t o n, La t hrop, and Manteca) with in the <br />San Joaquin County, as 'Ne ll as surrounding communit ies within Sacramento and Stanislaus <br />counties . <br />2.5 Waste Type and Volume (14 CCR. Sections 17407.5 (a) and (cl. 17408.2 and <br />18221.6 (h)) <br />2.5.1 Waste Types <br />The RRF can receive non -hazardous mixed municipa l solid wastes from residential, <br />commercia l, and industrial sources in accordance with the existing SWFP. However, no <br />municipa l commercial and/or industrial waste is received at the RRF . Only mixed <br />recyclables and a minimal amount of residual waste that are in the recyclables are accepted <br />at the RRF . and/or green wand wood 'Naste unload i ng area located outside and to the west <br />of the RRF (transfer ) build i ng. No high liquid content wastes are accepted at the RRF . <br />No designated wastes are accepted at the RRF. The designated wastes are routed directly to <br />the landfill. <br />No wastes requiring special handling are accepted at the RRF. The wastes requiring special <br />handling are routed directly to the landfill. <br />The ma t erials reco,.tered at the RRF include green and 'Nood from commerc ia l and private <br />generators for the compost operation . <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17407.5(a) and (c), the operator does not intentionally <br />accept or store hazardous wastes, including batteries, paint or any liquid wastes (Le., <br />sewage sludge, industrial waste, water treatment sludge, grit screenings or other high liquid <br />content wastes), designated waste or wastes requiring special handling. In addition, the <br />RRF cannot accept medical wastes and dead animals. <br />2.5.2 Waste Quantities <br />The storage capacity for the RRF is a maximum of 500 TPD of heavier mixed recyclables . <br />Based on the calculations, the storage capacity of the RRF building is between 200 and 500 <br />tons based on the types and mix of recyclables received. The flow through capacity of the <br />existing RRF building is 750+ TPD.
