3-15 <br />• Knoxbox outside the landfill main entrance with keys to the main gate, landfill office, <br />and RRF office. <br />Regular maintenance, inspection, and housekeeping procedures are conducted. Emergency <br />equipment operating instructions, escape routes, emergency response, and evacuation <br />procedures are identified in the Contingency Plan. <br />The RRF equipment and vehicles are maintained to prevent fires by frequently removing debris <br />and dust from undercarriages and engine compartments and checking for, and repairing, oil <br />and fuel leaks. Portable fire extinguishers are provided on all heavy equipment vehicles, in <br />office trailers, at the landfill, and an on board fire suppression system is provided on front line <br />equipment. Personnel are trained to perform fire suppression activities using appropriate site <br />equipment, stockpiled soil cover, and when necessary, a water truck. Water storage faci lities <br />consist of a 500 gpm pump that feeds a 10,000-galion pressurized tank. Lines from the tank <br />lead to various locations at the site. <br />3.3.7 Lighting (14 CCR, Section 17416.2) <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17416.2, lighting is available at the RRF for operations. <br />PG&E provides the primary electric service to the site. Electric power is provided to the office <br />trailers and on site pumping facilities. There is also night/security lighting at the landfill and <br />RRF entrances and on the RRF building. The landfill has a portable trailer-mounted generator, <br />in case of an emergency or night lighting. In addition, the landfill uses portable lights for <br />operations after dark (Le. in the winter) which could also be utilized for other activities. <br />3.3.8 Water Supply (14 CCR, Section 17419.2) <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17419.2, a safe and adequate water supply for drinking <br />and emergency use is available for station personnel. In the event that on-site personnel <br />and firefighting equipment cannon suppress a fire, then the local Fire Department is called <br />for ass istance by dialing "911". Any incidents of fore and/or a burning load will be noted in <br />the Spec ial Occurrences Log. Bottled water is provided for drinking. Water for site operations <br />is supplied by on-site wells: a 500-gpm production agr iculture well, which is located at the <br />southeast corner of the RRF and a production domestic well (2-inch line) along the RRF <br />property eastern boundary (see Figure 2). The RRF has a 10,000-galion pressurized water <br />tank. Portable to i lets and hand washing facilities are also located at the RRF. <br />3.3.9 Sanitary Facilities (14 CCR, Section 17409.2) <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17409.2, sanitary facilities are available for station <br />personnel and the public at the RRF . Portable toilets are provided and are serviced twice a <br />week. Hand washing facilities are located in (or near) each portable toi let.
