fl]�' : _ • <br />FOOTHILL LANDFILL <br />For 2018-2019 winterization operations at Foothill Landfill, the following existing <br />winterization measures are in place: <br />MODULE 1 and "I" <br />1. Down Drains <br />Existing down drains will be inspected and repaired as needed. This task is <br />expected to be completed by end of October. <br />2. Erosion Control <br />Side slopes of Module "I" have established vegetation. Side slopes of Module 1 <br />have been track walked to minimize erosion. <br />Following tasks will be completed as part of winterization: <br />Module 2A <br />1. Winter Pad <br />A winter pad will be built in Module 2A for refuse disposal during wet weather <br />(Figure 1). The winter pad will be constructed with six -inches of on-site gravel <br />placed on compacted refuse. This task is expected to be completed by end of <br />October. <br />2. Customer Haul Road <br />The existing customer haul road from the scale house to Module 2A is an <br />all-weather road. The extension of the customer haul road to Module 2A's winter <br />will be been built with firmly compacted on-site gravel and sand (Figure 1). <br />3. Daily Cover Soil <br />Daily cover soil is being stockpiled nearby the winter pad for winter operations. <br />This task is expected to be completed by end of November weather permitting. <br />FH -2018-19 Winterization Plan Page 1 of 2 Revised 10/15/2018 <br />
