0 0
Work and Safety Plan for Pile Load Testing Services
Foothill Landfill Solar Array
2/14/2019
Terracon will hire a backhoe service to extract the piles after testing. Unless otherwise
requested by Ameresco, piles will be collected and placed in one location and left onsite for
disposal during construction.
SAFETYB.
Terracon is currently not aware of environmental concerns at this project site that would create
health or safety hazards associated with our exploration program; thus, our scope considers
standard OSHA Level D Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) appropriate.
Exploration efforts require driving steel beams into the subsurface, therefore Terracon complies
with local regulations to request a utility location service through 811 Dig Alert.
A daily safety briefing will be performed by the Terracon Site Representative (Chris Congrave) to
discuss the days activities prior to the start of work. A pre -task plan will be available on-site which
will include the locations to nearest hospital and emergency contact numbers.
