Defendants shall clearly and visibly mark each tank or container of hazardous waste generated or stored at Defendants' Facilities with the following information: (i) the tank or container shall be labeled, "HAZARDOUS WASTE; (ii) the date upon which each period of j accumulation began; (iii) the date the applicable accumulation period began" (iv) the physical state of the wastes; (v) a statement of the hazardous properties of the waste, e.g. "flammable, reactive, etc.; and the name and the name and address of the Facility producing the waste as required by California Code of Regulations, title 22, sections 66262.34(d). fff Defendants shall assure all containers holding hazardous waste are always 1011 closed except when it is necessary to add or remove waste as required by California Code of 1111 Regulations, title 22, sections 66262.34(d). 40 CFR §§262.34 and 265.173. ggg. Defendants shall contact the owner or operator of the hazardous treatment, 19 storage, disposal facility where hazardous waste from Defendants Facility was shipped to determine 20 the status of the hazardous waste, in the event Defendants have not received a copy of the manifest 21 signed by all transporters and the facility operator within thirty-five (35) days of the date the waste 22 was accepted by the initial transporter, as required by Health and Safety Code section 25160(b)(3) 231, and California Code of Regulations, title 22, section 66262.42. iii. Defendants shall file an exception report concerning the transportation of a 2511 hazardous waste to a treatment, storage, or disposal facility when the facility has failed to return any executed manifest, as required by Health and Safety Code section 25160(b)(3) and California Code 2711 of Regulations, title 22, section 66262.42. 2811 jjj.
