Liquid waste sludge <br /> 2. Large dead animals <br /> 3. Cannery waste <br /> 4. Hours of operation <br /> 5. Permitted tons per day <br /> 6. Permitted traffic volume-incoming and outgoing <br /> 7. Nonhazardous waste requiring special handling <br /> Minimum State Standards to be Waived- Title 14 or Public Resources Code Div. 30 <br /> 1. Waste removal- exceedance of 48 hour time limit may be necessary <br /> 2. Salvaging/processing-processing area <br /> 3. Storage of salvage material <br /> 4. Removal frequency of salvage material <br /> Discussion of Diversion Programs and RecyclingFacilities <br /> The Lovelace Materials Recovery Facility and Transfer Station includes a 120,000-square- <br /> foot recycling center where all incoming waste is deposited. The waste is manually picked <br /> and sorted on the tipping floor by County personnel and with front-end loaders. <br /> Recyclable materials, such as paper, cardboard, plastics, glass, metals, wood, yard waste, <br /> and other recyclables, are separated, consolidated, and pushed into recycling bins. A <br /> public drop-off area is located adjacent to the public tipping area.
