NA217037 1.0 INTRODUCTION Terracon Consultants Inc. (Terracon) has been retained by Schack & Company, Inc. to prepare a Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report for the property identified as Assessor Parcel Numbers (APNs) 209-060-49 and 209-060-60, located south of Central Parkway and north of Interstate 205 in Mountain House, San Joaquin County, California. This report has been prepared to meet the requirements of the San Joaquin County Development Title Chapter 9-905, Section 9-905.12, as follows: "A surface and subsurface contamination report shall be required at the time of the tentative map submittal. The surface and subsurface contamination report shall be prepared by a qualified environmental professional and shall identify any potential source of surface or subsurface contamination caused by past or current land uses. The report shall include evaluation of nonpoint source of hazardous materials, including agricultural chemical residues, as well as potential point sources, such as fuel storage tanks, septic systems, or chemical storage areas. " The purpose of this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report is to identify, to the extent feasible and based on the search methods described in the text, sources of surface or subsurface contamination to the site. The report also provides recommendations intended to inform the client and allow the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) to make an informed decision on whether further action should be required to address any potential contamination sources identified. This report contains information and data provided to Terracon by several sources. Terracon in no way warrants the accuracy or completeness of the information provided to this investigation by those sources. This report has been formatted to correspond with the Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report Requirement Checklist of the EHD dated September 24, 2007. Per EHD policy, this report may be used for six months from its date of completion. This report was prepared for the exclusive use of Schack & Company, Inc. and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) for the processing of a tentative map at San Joaquin County. This report is not equivalent to a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and does not meet ASTM E1527-13. Terracon specifically disclaims responsibility for any unauthorized use of this report.
