San Joaquin County Environmentealth Department State 18-Month Inspection'Report ' <br /> Foothill Sanitary Landfill <br /> SWIS#39-AA-0004 <br /> AREAS OF CONCERN: <br /> A. The inspection identified no areas of concern of Division 30,Public Resources Code,Division 30,Part 4,Chapter 3. <br /> B. The inspection identified no areas of concern of Title 27,California Code of Regulations,Consolidated Regulations <br /> for Treatment, Storage,Processing,or Disposal of Solid Waste. <br /> COMMENTS: <br /> Upon arrival to the active face,there was an ample layer of soil covering the previous day municipal solid waste(MSW). No <br /> vectors were observed. No litter was observed on or off site. On the top deck of the previous waste management unit there <br /> was some minor daylighting of waste through the intermediate cover. However,by the end of the inspection the area was <br /> recovered with intermediate cover soil(see Figure 1). <br /> Figure 1. Area recovered with intermediate cover soil. <br /> Gas monitoring was preformed at two gas-monitoring wells within the permitted boundary and at one well on the boundary <br /> using the local enforcement agency's Landtech GEM-500 landfill gas monitor.
