0 <br />APPENDIX 13.2 ZONING REGULATIONS <br />CHAPTER 2. GENERAL AGRICULTURE ZONE (GA) <br />SECTION 9-4100. INTENT. It has been determined that agri- <br />culture is one of the major industries of the County and for the <br />protection of agriculture and in order to prevent encroachment <br />upon it by incompatible uses of land, and for the general welfare <br />of the County as a whole, there is established a zone classifica- <br />tion within which agriculture shall be encouraged to the exclu- <br />sion of such other uses of land as may be in conflict therewith. <br />The provisions of this chapter shall be liberally interpreted, <br />insofar as they apply to agricultural pursuits and services and <br />shall not be deemed nor construed to interfere with any normal <br />accessory use. <br />Source: Ordinance No. 1447. <br />SECTION 9-4101. PERMITTED USES. No building, structure, or <br />land shall be used for other than one or more of the following <br />uses unless otherwise provided in this title: <br />(a) Single-family dwellings, guesthouses, foster homes; <br />(b) Field crops, row crops, tree crops, berry or bush crops; <br />(c) The raising and grazing of horses, cattle, sheep or <br />goats, including supplemental feeding; provided, that <br />5!5o such raising or grazing is not a part of, nor conducted <br />SPcf[n in conjunction with, any livestock feed yard, sales yard, <br />e,� ZzL slaughterhouse, or animal byproduct business; <br />(d) The keeping and raising of not more than five (5) hogs; <br />provided, that no person shall feed any such animal <br />market refuse, garbage or offal other than that produced <br />on the premises; <br />(e) Noncommercial nurseries and greenhouses, aviaries, <br />apiaries, mushroom farms, farm home occupations; <br />(f) Plants for the storage or packing of fruit or vegetables <br />produced on the premises. <br />(i) Educational animal project. <br />Source: Ordinance No. 850, 1447, 1639, 2064, 2157, 2713, 2831, <br />3098, 3104. <br />SECTION 9-4102. USES SUBJECT TO DEVELOPMENT PLAN.
