family dwelling, may be created from an original lot <br />created prior to the classification or reclassification <br />of the original lot as agricultural zone GA if the origi- <br />nal lot contains two single-family residences erected <br />prior to February 9, 1961. The new lots must meet the <br />width and yard requirements for the agricultural zone GA <br />and have frontage on a street. <br />(b) No additional dwelling unit shall be permitted on a lot <br />created pursuant to this section. <br />ource: Ordinance No. 1395. <br />SECTION 9-4113. HISTORICAL STRUCTURES LANDMARKS OR <br />ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES. Upon the securing of a use permit, alter- <br />native uses, not otherwise enumerated as permitted on conditional <br />uses in this chapter, may be permitted for historical structures, <br />landmarks or archaeological sites to provide the means or incen- <br />tives for private owners to maintain, rehabilitate, restore <br />and/or preserve such historical resources as a record of the <br />social, economic and political history of the County for the <br />appreciation, benefit, education and enjoyment of future genera- <br />tions, subject to the following conditions: <br />(a) Such historical structures, landmarks or archaeological <br />sites shall have been so designated or identified in the <br />General Plan; <br />(b) Such historical structures, landmarks or archaeological <br />sites shall qualify as such if identified as being signi- <br />ficant by a recognized historical or architectural orga- <br />nization, or whose value can be established through <br />presentation of historical or architectural literature, <br />publications or official documents which discuss the <br />structure, landmark or site and its place in history; <br />(c) No use of such historical structure, landmark or <br />archaeological sites shall detract from or otherwise <br />impair such structure, landmark or site as a historical <br />resource, but rather shall be compatible with and shall <br />compliment and enhance such historical resource. <br />Further, any use of such historical resource shall be <br />compatible with and not detrimental to the surrounding <br />neighborhood nor shall induce additional nonagricultural <br />uses to locate in the area; <br />(d) Parcels with an area less than the minimum area require- <br />ments of the zone in which the historical structure, <br />landmark or archaeological site is located may be created <br />for the purpose of permitting the retention or sale or <br />otherwise transfer of the site of such historical <br />resource in order to facilitate the attainment of the <br />objectives of this section.
