ZR-87-34 OF THE TRAINA BROTHERS <br /> (C/O WILLIAM D. EDWARDS ) , SOUTHEAST OF TRACY (DISTRICT 5 ) <br /> IT IS RECOMMENDED: <br /> That the Board of Supervisors: <br /> 1. Certify Environmental Impact Report No. ER-86-3 with a Finding <br /> of Significant Environmental Impacts (Attachment A) and a <br /> Statement of Overriding Considerations (Attachment B) . <br /> 2 . Approve Zone Reclassification No. ZR-87-34 to RR-65 , based upon <br /> the "Bases for Zone Reclassification Action" in the staff <br /> report. <br /> REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: <br /> This matter was heard by the Planning Commission at its regular <br /> meeting of September 10 , 1987. Also under consideration by the <br /> Commission was a Major Subdivision application to subdivide the <br /> subject property in 13 rural residential lots. Of the five persons <br /> who spoke at the hearing, all five addressed issues related to the <br /> subdivision. No one spoke in favor or opposition to the zone <br /> reclassification. <br /> The zone reclassification to RR-65 (Rural Residential, 65, 000 <br /> square foot minimum lot size ) is consistent with the Rural <br /> Residential General Plan land use designation placed on the subject <br /> property by the Board of Supervisors on August 27 , 1987. The adja- <br /> cent Valpico rural residential area is also zoned RR-65. <br /> Following their deliberations , the Planning Commission voted unani- <br /> mously to forward the Zone Reclassification application to the <br /> Board of Supervisors with a recommendation for approval. <br /> BOS LETTER PAGE 1 <br />
