1 A-93-�� <br /> 2 PLEDGE OF REVENUE AGREEMENT FOR FINANCIAL ASSURANCE FOR <br /> 3 POSTCLOSURE MAINTENANCE OF THE NORTH COUNTY SANITARY LANDFILL <br /> 4 UTILIZING SOLID WASTE ENTERPRISE FUND REVENUES <br /> SEP.2 81993 <br /> 5 THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into , by and <br /> 6 between the COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN, ,a political subdivision of the <br /> 7 State of California, hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY" , and the <br /> 8 California Integrated Waste 'Management Board, hereinafter referred <br /> 9 to as "BOARD"-, establishes a Pledge of Revenue to assure that <br /> 10 adequate funds are available to carry out the postclosure <br /> 11 maintenance of the North County Sanitary Landfill. <br /> • <br /> 12 WITNESETFi _ <br /> 13 WHEREAS, . the COUNTY owns and operates the North County. <br /> 14 Sanitary Landfill, hereinafter referred to as "LANDFILL", In <br /> 15 conformance with the findings, conditions, prohibitions and <br /> 16 requirements contained in Solid Waste Facilities Permit No. 39-AA- <br /> 17 0022 issued by County Environmental Health Division serving as <br /> 18 Local Enforcement Agency for the BOARD; and <br /> an accepting waste ®n November 1, <br /> 19 WHEREAS, the LANDFILL beg P . 4 <br /> 20 1991; .and. <br /> c Resources Code, Sections 43500 <br /> 21 WHEREAS, California Publi <br /> 22 through 43610 and sections of Title 14, of the California Code of <br /> , Division 7% Chapter 5, Article 3 .5, <br /> 23 Regulations ("Regulations") <br /> 24 require operators of solid waste landfills to demonstrate the <br /> 25 availability of financial' resources to conduct postclosure <br /> 26 maintenance activities; and <br />
