Box 388 <br /> Stockton, CA 95202-0388 <br /> Subject: State 18-Month Inspection Report for the Foothill Sanitary Landfill <br /> (SWIS#39-AA-0004) <br /> Dear Ms. Heran: <br /> Pursuant to Division 30, Public Resources Code (PRC) section 43220, staff of the California <br /> Integrated Waste Management Board(CIWMB)conducted an 18-month inspection of the <br /> Foothill Sanitary Landfill on February 18, 2004,in conjunction with Robert McClellan of your <br /> staff. A copy of CIWMB staff's inspection report is enclosed for your records. A copy of this <br /> correspondence and the inspection report has also been forwarded to Annette Borges, Integrated <br /> Waste Manager, County of San Joaquin Department of Public Works Solid Waste Division. <br /> The facility was evaluated for compliance with applicable sections of Division 30 PRC and <br /> Title 27, California Code of Regulations (CCR),Division 2, Subdivision 1, Consolidated <br /> Regulations for Treatment, Storage,Processing, or Disposal of Solid Waste. <br /> During the inspection CIWMB staff noted the following: <br /> 1. There were no violations of Division 30 PRC: <br /> 2. There was one area of concern of Title 27 CCR: <br /> ® Section 20830—Litter Control <br /> As the San Joaquin County local enforcement agency, please work with the operator to bring this <br /> facility into compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
