The facility is used predominately to serve the Lovelace Transfer Station,which <br /> comprises approximately 90 percent of the landfill's waste stream. The other 10 percent is made up of self-haul public waste. <br /> The land surrounding the facility is rangeland. <br /> On March 1,2004,the California Regional Water Quality Control Board gave approval to the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Works Department to proceed with the discharge of waste at the new waste management unit. Initially the waste will be <br /> disposed at the two active faces with loads that could damage the new lined unit being taken to the current waste <br /> management unit. <br /> Previous CIWMB Inspection Results: <br /> The previous State inspection of this facility was conducted on August 20,2002.
