This is a delay of seven weeks.
Secondly, Board staff has asked that we speciate soil gas VOCs with EPA Method TO-14.
Although we are pleased to use the method requested, at least two more weeks will be needed to
obtain laboratory results from Method TO-14, compared to Method 8260B,which was originally
proposed.
Thirdly, the Local Enforcement Agency has asked us to drill out the casing of existing well
MW-2 rather than simply filling the casing with concrete slurry. This added an additional four
working days (approximately one week)to the project.
Based on this, we ask for an extension of ten weeks,to August 11, 2003, for the submittal of the
Engineering Feasibility Report based on the results of this Evaluation Monitoring Program.
If you have any questions, please call me at(209)468-3066.
Sincerely,
W.
