WHEREAS, OPERATOR and COUNTY desire to modify the <br /> Agreement to increase the monthly payment- to be paid by <br /> COUNTY to OPERATOR, and <br /> WHEREAS, OPERATOR and COUNTY desire to modify the <br /> Agreement to provide certain COUNTY equipment to OPERATOR <br /> for OPERATOR'S use; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED by and between <br /> the parties hereto that the Agreement shall be amended as <br /> follows; <br /> A. Commencing on January 1, 1993 and each month thereaf- <br /> ter, COUNTY shall within twenty (20) days of the end of <br /> each month pay OPERATOR $5.30 per ton of weighed waste <br /> and $1.25 per cubic yard of unweighed waste delivered <br /> to the landfill, or a minimum guaranteed monthly <br /> payment of Fifty Thousand Dollars {$50,000.00) , which- <br /> ever is greater. Said tonnage and yardage charge and <br /> minimum guaranteed monthly payment shall be in addition <br /> to any special handling fees and shall be increased or <br /> decreased annually based on the Engineering Cost index <br /> or other index in the manner as provided herein. <br /> For the purpose of determining' volumes for computing <br /> payment to OPERATOR for waste arriving at' the site for <br /> which a minimum fee is chargedt automobiles and compact <br /> pickup trucks will be considered as one cubic yard, and <br /> -full size pickup trucks, vans and trailers of 8 feet or <br /> less in length will be considered as two cubic yards, <br /> -2- <br /> 20"d 8L0289V GOE MSUM GF10S AiNnoo 2LE:VT 66T-,LO-d9S <br />
