Ms. Elizabeth Castaneda-2- <br />FINANCIAL ASSURANCEtONSTRATION FOR CLOSURE, PO CLOSURE <br />MAINTENANCE, CORRECTIVE ACTION AND OPERATING LIABILITY FOR FOOTHILL <br />SANITARY LANDFILL (FACILITY NO. 39 -AA -0004) <br />We are pleased to report that we have deposited more than the required fund balance in FSL's <br />closure fund for the reporting period. The total required cumulative closure fund balance is <br />$670,039.34. Based on the current total balance for FSL's closure fund, we are adequately <br />funded. <br />POST CLOSURE MAINTENANCE: <br />Financial assurance for post closure maintenance at FSL is through Pledge of Future Revenue <br />Agreement No. A-94-1137. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: <br />The corrective action cost for FSL as approved by Regional Water Quality Control Board staff is <br />$227,993.00 (2008 dollars). The County intends to demonstrate financial assurance for <br />corrective action through pledge of future revenue. A pledge of future revenue agreement draft <br />will be submitted soon for your review.
