01 <br /> TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> GX-2 LFG EXTRACTION WELL INSTALLATION <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> I. Definitions <br /> A. County: San Joaquin County Public Works Department Solid Waste Division. <br /> B. Engineer: The authorized representative of the County. <br /> C. Standard Specifications: Standard Specifications of the State of California <br /> Department of Transportation May 2006. <br /> D. EHD: Environmental Health Department of San Joaquin County <br /> II. General Requirements <br /> A. The work identified herein shall be in accordance with the Standard Specifications of <br /> the California State Department of Transportation dated May 2006. <br /> B. Contractor shall follow instructions from the County when doing work. Contractor <br /> shall call to the County's attention directives that do not, in the Contractor's opinion, <br /> fall within the scope or the work to which unit prices apply. <br /> C. Contractor shall obtain drilling permits as needed from the EHD. Contractor shall <br /> present these permits to the Engineer prior to drilling. Drilling may not proceed until <br /> the drilling permits are presented to the Engineer. <br /> III. Work Locations <br /> A. Work may be at any of the following locations during the working hours indicated: <br /> • Foothill Landfill <br /> 6484 N Waverly Rd Linden California <br /> Work hours: 8:OOAM to 5:OOPM <br /> B. Work Hours <br /> 1. Contractor's personnel may be on site and performing work on scheduled working <br /> days during site work hours. <br /> C. Work Schedule <br /> 1. A written notice for the start of work will be sent to the Contractor by the County <br /> identifying the scope of work. <br /> 2.
