3. Work completion time will also be mutually agreed. Contractor shall complete <br /> work within the agreed time. Deliberate delay and poor performance in completing <br /> work may result in contract cancellation. <br /> D. Site Conditions <br /> 1. Verification of Conditions <br /> Contractor shall verify existing conditions before commencing work. <br /> Discrepancies between the bid items and field conditions shall be immediately <br /> reported to the Engineer who shall determine if there needs to be a change <br /> order. Contractor's failure to call discrepancies to the Engineer's attention <br /> constitutes acceptance of those conditions. <br /> Contractor shall not modify the work without prior authorization by the Engineer. <br /> Location of the LFG wells and other items of repair or replacement will be <br /> marked by the County. Contractor shall verify markings with County staff before <br /> beginning work. <br /> 2. Facilities <br /> The Contractor shall provide drinking water, sanitary facilities, and hand washing <br /> facilities for Contractor workers. Contractor shall not use site telephones or other <br /> site facilities. <br /> Contractor shall protect existing work site's facilities, including, but not limited to <br /> existing LFG components, monitoring wells, liners, and closure cap barriers. <br /> Contractor shall repair or replace existing facilities damaged by the Contractor. <br /> a. Water <br /> Water is available on site. The Contractor shall obtain water from the source <br /> identified by County staff. Contractor shall give facility operation priority in <br /> water use. <br /> b. Care of Work Site <br /> Contractor shall collect meal trash and other litter generated by the Contractor <br /> daily, and dispose of this material appropriately. <br /> c. Staging And Parking <br /> Contractor shall stage materials at the work site as directed by the County. <br /> Contractor's workers shall park in areas as directed by the County. <br /> FH-LFG Well Installation GX-2A 2 Revised 6-14-11 <br />
