COMPLAINANT OBSERVED EMPLOYEES <br />USING A SPRAYER TO SPRAY SHOPPING CARTS IN THE AREA WHERE THE STRONG ODOR WAS NOTED. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS / ORDER: <br />Submit copies of hazardous waste manifests/disposal records to the EHD. <br />Other Correction <br />Please provide a written statement indicating what steps the facility had implemented to ensure that employees and <br />customers are protected from potential exposure to the disinfectant solution used to disinfect the stores shopping <br />carts. Furthermore please provide a statement indicating how thermal decomposition (storage over 86F) as well as <br />contact with possible incompatible chemicals while wet disinfectant is still present on the shopping carts will be <br />avoided. <br />COST RECOVERY: All EHD time associated with this Spill Response is billed to the responsible party at the current hourly <br />rate.
