The Guide to Potentially Hazardous Material Management <br /> <br />Remember: Documents and Logs <br /> <br /> Weekly Inspection Checklist cont. <br /> <br />Waste Labeling <br /> <br /> Bins are properly labeled with the pre-printed “Hazardous Waste” labels <br /> Labels are filled out completely and correctly <br />o Physical property of items in the bins are circled <br />o Name of the store and store number <br />o Store address <br />o Accumulation date <br /> Usually the date of the last pick up or date first product is put into a bin <br />after last pick up <br /> Accumulation date must be less than 180 days <br /> Labels are visible and legible <br />Recordkeeping/Documentation <br /> EPA ID or State ID number is posted <br /> Emergency Coordinator contact information is posted by the phone <br /> Hazardous Material Management poster is hung near the bins where it can be clearly <br />viewed <br /> Training log is up-to-date and in the hazardous waste binder <br />o Log must show that all employees have completed the training in the last 12 <br />months <br /> Copies of the Generator and Facility manifests for every pick up are complete and in the <br />hazardous waste binder <br />o Manifests retained for three years <br /> LDR available and complete, as applicable <br />o LDRs retained for three years <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Weekly Inspection required <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3 © 2019 Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc.
