Contractor shall apply final coat in the field after placement. <br />3 Drill % inch diameter weep hole in the enclosure at top of neat cement backfill. <br />4 - The -well enclosure -cover shall open and close smoothly. The Engineer Will -be -the sole <br />judge of smoothness of operation. <br />Paint shall be non volatile paint. <br />PART Ill. EXECUTION <br />3.01 EXISTING SITE CONDITIONS <br />A Contractor shall examine the areas and conditions under which work will be <br />performed. Contractor shall notify the Engineers if site conditions are not in <br />accordance with the Scope of Work or the specifications. Contractor shall not <br />proceed until unsatisfactory conditions are corrected. <br />B Contractor shall remove existing well enclosure and bollards of the existing soil gas <br />wells that will be over drilled and dispose in the metals bins near the scale house. No <br />disposal costs will be charged to the Contractor. <br />3.02' UNDERGROUND UTILITIES <br />A Contractor shall notify underground service alert (USA) by calling 811. <br />B Contractor shall provide the USA ticket number and its expiration date before drilling <br />to the Engineer. <br />3.03 DRILLING <br />A See Drilling requirements —Part 1 General. <br />B Contractor shall not start drilling without EHD drilling permits.
