Sump "Lake " Test Details <br /> Access all sumps to be tested and verify no stray voltage is present. <br /> Fill out data sheet. <br /> Clean sump per "Test Fluid" Handling Procedures. <br /> Tighten gaskets on all penetration boots. Install terminating reducer fittings <br /> on piping as necessary. <br /> Identify any obvious failure points and make minor repairs if authorized by <br /> contract. <br /> 6. Seal and tighten any loose junction box covers or fittings. <br /> 7. Fill sump with water at least 4" above highest penetration or sidewall seam. <br /> 8. Measure level with a stick or other device with accuracy of 1 /16 . <br /> 9. After 1 hour record the ending water level. If the level changes 1/8" or more <br /> the test fails. <br /> 10. Record test finish time, total level change, and pass/fail result on data sheet. <br /> If alternate test protocols are followed, record the test method, data and <br /> pass/fail results as specified. <br /> Remove water per the Test Fluid Handling Procedures. <br /> 4-AW <br />
