As a minimum, the analysis
should consider the development of Neighborhood F, which is expected to start
construction in the near future.
Response: The County's Traffic Study Guidelines require Traffic Consultants to evaluate
traffic impacts for the "existing plus approved projects plus project condition." The 1.
County hired Korve Engineering on October 19, 1999,to prepare a traffic study for the
ADT project, at that time Neighborhood F, did not have an approved "Small
Lot" tentative map for development. Therefore, neighborhood F was not considered in
the traffic analysis for the near term, but was projected for the 2020 cumulative scenario
analysis.Additionally, the applicant will contribute his fair share of improvements for
both,near-term and long-term impacts prior to release of the building permit.
Comment number 2:
Truck Impacts-The analysis of project trip generation identifies the number of trucks
anticipated with the proposed project. However, the impact of this truck traffic on the
Pavement section has not been evaluated. It is likely that the project truck traffic could 4
impact the section of Mountain House Parkway between the project and I-205. The
impacts of the project on the existing and future Traffic Index should be evaluated. The
project should be required to mitigate any changes to the required pavement section.
i
