U-84-64 OF ELKHORN GOLF AND <br />COUNTRY CLUB <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Elkhorn Golf and Country Club should be <br />directed to comply with the approved Exhibit A by August 14, <br />1984. If all conditions are satisfied at that time, no addi- <br />tional hearings will be necessary. <br />BACKGROUND: This item has been continued from the hearing of <br />April 12, 1984, at the request of Ron Stein, Attorney for Mr. and <br />Mrs. McAthie, neighboring property owners of the Elkhorn Golf <br />Course. <br />On January 12, 1984, the Board of Zoning Adjustment approved con- <br />ditional Use Permit No. U-84-64 at the Elkhorn Golf Course <br />located on the southeast corner of Elkhorn Drive and Shull Place, <br />north of Stockton. The Board adopted the following supplemental <br />conditions of approval: <br />5. Any construction, reconstruction, moving, remodeling, or <br />other alterations authorized by this Use Permit shall not be <br />commenced or completed until all permits required by other <br />departments or agencies have been secured. <br />6. The driving range shall be limited to the use of irons only. <br />7. Driving shall be from west to east direction only. <br />8. This permit is to be reviewed by the Board of Zoning <br />Adjustment in three months (April 12, 1984). <br />The matter was again continued from the April 12, 1984, hearing, <br />as the MCAthies reported no problems with the driving range at <br />that time. <br />Upon a staff inspection of the driving range on May 24, 1984, no <br />golf balls were observed within the yards of the adjoining resi- <br />
