Item No. 2
BZA: 6-14-84
U-84-64
Page 2
dences. The tees have been reoriented to a west -to -east direc-
tion, and this change seems to have remedied the original
AtI problem of balls straying from the range.
Staff did note, however, one deviation from the applicant's
Vr Exhibit A. The applicant was supposed to post a sign limiting
jrange use to iron clubs only; he was also to construct a fence to
control access to the range. Neither improvement has been
accomplished. The fence construction and sign posting should be
secured by the addition of a permit condition which requires that
these measures be accomplished within a specified period of time.
Recently, staff received a complaint unrelated to the driving
range operation. Americo Nunes, a resident of the Eklhorn sub-
division, has written that relocation of the cart path between
the first green and the second tee has resulted in property
damage to his fence. A copy of his letter is attached. Staff
has notified Mr. Nunes and Mr. Hubman, of the Elkhorn Country
Club, that they should attend the hearing of June 14, 1984, to
address this issue.
