S A N J D AR I N Environmental Health Department <br /> u j ;"� 1 Y AMENDED <br /> 2/7/2022 <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> BIG O TIRES 1129 W ELEVENTH ST,TRACY February 03, 2022 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: <br /> -one metal blue 55-gallon drum located in the outdoor storage area labeled as containing"Non-RCRA Hazardous <br /> Waste, Liquid (oily water)"was observed without a cap. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days(90 days acute/extremely). <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br /> greater than 180 days or no accumulation start date: <br /> -One blue metal 55-gallon drum was observed on site labeled as containing "Non-RCRA Hazardous Wastes, Liquid <br /> (Oil Water)" that did not have an accumulation start date. The drum was approximately 3/4 full with the previous <br /> owner's EPA ID listed on the label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations.
