A hazardous waste determination must be made per CCR 66262.11 for all generated hazardous <br />wastes. <br />Property owners are responsible for the clean-up of hazardous wastes located on their property. <br />Immediately secure any open or leaky hazardous waste containers, label them, and dispose of all <br />hazardous wastes, as required. A list of qualified clean-up companies that work in this area is included <br />with this letter for your convenience. Licensed hazardous waste transporters can be found here: <br />https://hwts. dtsc. ca.gov/transporters/. <br />Small amounts of hazardous waste can be transported for disposal to the San Joaquin County Household <br />Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility, located at 7850 R.A. Bridgeford Street, Stockton, CA 95206. The facility <br />has limited hours of operation; more information can be found here: https://www.sjgov.org/solidwaste/hhw <br />or in the included brochure. <br />Dispose of all waste materials under the appropriate waste manifesting procedure [HSC 25160 <br />(b)(3)]. Submit proof of correction to the EHD by October 13, 2021. Proof of correction may include <br />but is not limited to hazardous waste disposal manifests or receipts of disposal from the HHW <br />facility. <br />All EHD follow-up time for confirmed complaints is billed to the property occupant or owner at the <br />current Environmental Health Department rate of $152 per hour.
