AbliJites <br /> <br />Abated By: <br /> <br />Activity Summary <br />Activity Date Recorded by <br />10/24/2020 8:40 AM Cal OES Spill Report # 20-59-38 was sent to ER Cell phone at 8:00 AM MURO <br />for a potential release of sunken dredge tender and barge. I was not paged. No <br />report of release or sheen was observed. Booms were deployed in the event <br />there is a release. I called the person reporting the potential release, John Cowan, <br />360-790-3165. He reported that there is no release at the moment. They are <br />working on scheduling to bring in equipment for removal of barge from water. He <br />reported that NRC and Coast Guard were notified. <br />9:10 AM END <br />10/26/2020 Called John Cowan, 360-790-3165, for update. He reported no release as of yet. MURO <br />Divers had been under water assessing barge. <br />10/27/2020 Called John Cowan, 360-790-3165, to check status on sunken barge, and request MURO <br />fuel disposition after they lift barge out of water. Left voice mail. <br />10/28/2020 Called John Cowan, 360-790-3165. John reported that the barge is still under. No MURO <br />release as of yet. He said it is a big process with engineers involved. Removal of <br />the barge will not take place today, and he doesn't know when it will happen. I <br />reminded him to notify me if there is a release. He is aware and will notify me. He <br />reported that the fuel and oils on board will be disposed through Ramos <br />Environmental. <br />Sent a detailed email to Mitchell Goode (F&VV) at mitchell.goode@wildlife.ca.gov <br />with spill report information for the potential release and current status. <br />11/02/2020 Called John Cowan for an update. He reported that he does not know and I would MURO <br />have to talk to their Fish and Wildlife guy. I asked him for the F&W person's <br />contact information. He told me he doesn't know who it is. <br />Called Steven Bender (Port of Stockton industrial hygienist) 209-323-9008.
