Per PRESTO <br />complainant, while fueling vehicle at dispenser 2, the diesel hose sprayed on <br />complainant's sweater and onto the ground. Complainant then went into the store <br />to inform station that fuel had sprayed from the hose and gotten on their sweater. <br />Per complainant, the facility was not responsive and did not attempt to remedy the <br />situation. <br />Created complaint with Kristina Saetern. <br />11/03/2021 Called complainant and left a voicemail to verify if they have had any adverse <br />effects, hospitalization, doctor visits or if it made contact with their skin as a result <br />from the diesel. <br />Sent email to public health officer, EHD director, assistant director and CUPA <br />program coordinator regarding potential chemical exposure. <br />Received a phone call back from complainant who stated that the diesel only got <br />on their sweater and a little on their hand. Complainant stated they do not have <br />any adverse effects as a results of the incident and they are feeling fine. Per <br />complainant they just wanted to ensure something was done as they did not feel <br />confident that the facility was going to address the issue after they brought it to <br />their attention. Informed complainant that I visited the facility and they replaced the <br />diesel hose at dispenser 2 after I pointed out that the hose was leaking. <br />PRESTO <br />5105. rpt <br /> Page 1 of 2
