Soil Suitability / Nitrate Loading Study Cherokee Memorial Park Vineyard Chapel Addition ■ Lodi, California March 5, 2021 ■ Terracon Project No. NA207102 Responsive ■Resourceful ■Reliable 3 SOIL SUITABILITY / NITRATE LOADING STUDY CHEROKEE MEMORIAL PARK, VINEYARD CHAPEL ADDITION APN 061-030-71 13951 NORTH BECKMAN ROAD LODI, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA TERRACON PROJECT NUMBER: NA207102 Our office was contacted by Mr. Walter Scheffer to conduct a Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study (SSNLS) for the property at northeast corner of Highway 99 and East Harney Lane, Lodi, California, San Joaquin County (SJC). The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, San Joaquin County, Environmental Health Department (EHD) Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated September 25, 2007 and Nitrate Loading Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. 1.0 SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY 1.1 Introduction and Development The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether site soils are suitable for septic system usage. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section 9- 110.05.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A major element of the field work included conducting percolation tests that meet absorption rates as specified by EHD. A review of published soil information, geologic maps, and groundwater information was also performed. Terracon reviewed the following reports associated with the Vineyard Chapel development which was performed on a former parcel that has since been combined with the existing 51-acre parcel. n Neil O. Anderson & Associates, a Terracon Company, Soil Suitability Study (SSS), Cherokee Memorial Park Chapel, 14165 North Beckman Road, Lodi, California dated July 22, 2015 (Project Number NA145063). The 2015 SSS was prepared for a 13.25- acre parcel APN 061-030-47. At the time of the report, the parcel was developed with a grape vineyard. The 2015 SSS stated the following in reference to the Vineyard Chapel development. “The chapel will be open seven days a week; Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday through Sunday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be up to three permanent employees operating the chapel during business hours. It is estimated that one chapel service will be conducted per day, with a maximum of 265 visitors. It is anticipated that an additional 50 visitors per day will visit the chapel outside of chapel services for a total of 315 visitors per day (worst case scenario). Two bathrooms will be located in the proposed chapel, with a total of seven toilets, two urinals and four sinks; an additional three sinks will be located in the chapel to serve
