1 EXHIBIT E <br /> 2 <br /> 3 ' FINAL CLOSURE OF SURFACE IMPOUNDMENT <br /> 4 <br /> 5 REQUIREMENTS BASED ON REVIEW OF THE RESPONDENT'S SURFACE <br /> 6I IMPOUNDMENT CLOSURE AND POST-CLOSURE PLANS , DATED SEPTEMBER <br /> 7 1986 , AND THE SEPTEMBER 22 , 1986 CORRESPONDENCE WITH <br /> g ATTACHMENTS <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Final closure of the surface impoundment shall require an <br /> 11 approved RCRA Closure Plan and a post-closure permit. To <br /> 12 facilitate the final closure and approval of the closure plan, <br /> 13 the existing closure and post-closure plan shall be revised as <br /> 14 directed herein. Final closure shall also comply with Title <br /> 15 22 of the California Code of Regulations (CCR) , and the <br /> 16 <br /> California Health and Safety Code. Should the RAP specify <br /> 17 requirements more stringent than those of the closure plan, <br /> 18 the RAP requirements shall apply. Respondent shall submit the <br /> 19 revised closure plan to the Department by March 15, 1988. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Specific Requirements: <br /> 22 The following requirements apply to the cited page-numbers in <br /> ?3 Attachment 2 of the September 22, 1986 correspondence to the <br /> 24 Department. <br /> 25 *P-13 Cover Design: The final top slope shall be at least 3 <br /> 26 percent or an engineered alternative as approved by the <br /> 27 Department.
