EXHIBIT A Tp 5a77L65, sCN7' <br /> SCHEDULE OF COMPLIANCE �Gs� <br /> I . INTERIM CORRECTIVE MEASURES <br /> A. By November 29 , 1984 , MCTC shall implement an Interim <br /> Corrective Measures Plan at its Stockton, California facility <br /> (the "Facility" ) which provides for the following items : <br /> 1 . Temporary lining of the retort pit with a mate- <br /> rial capable of preventing further percolation <br /> into the soil of hazardous waste constituents <br /> contained in wood- treating solutions used at the <br /> Facility ; <br /> 2 . Improvements to the Facility ' s retort catch <br /> /i basin to maximize collection of wood-treating <br /> solution run-offs in that vicinity ; <br /> 3 . An explanation of a proposal to reduce by chemi- <br /> cal processes the volume of any hexavalent <br /> chrome present in the .Facility ' s stormwater <br /> run-off holding pond which shall be implemented <br /> upon approval by the Department and the Board . <br /> B . The Department and the Board shall review the portion <br /> of the Interim Corrective Measures Plan set forth in paragraph <br /> I .A. 3 above as expeditiously as possible . Thereafter, MCTC <br /> shall implement the approved interim remedial measures set <br /> forth in I .A. 3 above in accordance with the implementation <br /> schedule above . <br /> 1 <br />
