SPX CORPORATION ORDER R5-2019-0018 <br /> SPX MARLEY COOLING TECHNOLOGIES GROUNDWATER CLEANUP NPDES NO. CA0081787 <br /> The Discharger owns and operates the Facility subject to this Order. The monitoring reports <br /> required by this Order are necessary to determine compliance with this Order. The need for <br /> the monitoring reports is discussed in the Fact Sheet. <br /> E. Notification of Interested Persons. The Central Valley Water Board has notified the <br /> Discharger and interested agencies and persons of its intent to prescribe WDR's for the <br /> discharge and has provided them with an opportunity to submit their written comments and <br /> recommendations. Details of the notification are provided in the Fact Sheet. <br /> F. Consideration of Public Comment. The Central Valley Water Board, in a public meeting, <br /> heard and considered all comments pertaining to the discharge. Details of the Public Hearing <br /> are provided in the Fact Sheet. <br /> THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Order R5-2014-0013 is rescinded upon the <br /> effective date of this Order except for enforcement purposes, and, in order to meet the provisions <br /> contained in division 7 of the Water Code (commencing with section 13000) and regulations <br /> adopted thereunder, and the provisions of the CWA and regulations and guidelines adopted <br /> thereunder, the Discharger shall comply with the requirements in this Order. This action in no way <br /> prevents the Central Valley Water Board from taking enforcement action for violations of the <br /> previous Order. <br /> III. DISCHARGE PROHIBITIONS <br /> A. Discharge of wastewater from the Facility, as the Facility is specifically described in the Fact <br /> Sheet in section ILB, in a manner different from that described in this Order is prohibited. <br /> B. The by-pass or overflow of wastes to surface waters is prohibited, except as allowed by <br /> Federal Standard Provisions I.G. and I.H. (Attachment D). <br /> C. Neither the discharge nor its treatment shall create a nuisance as defined in section 13050 of <br /> the Water Code. <br /> D. Discharge of waste classified as `hazardous', as defined in the California Code of <br /> Regulations, title 22, section 66261.1 et seq., is prohibited. <br /> E. Average Daily Flow. Discharges exceeding an average daily flow of 0.94 million gallons per <br /> day (MGD) are prohibited. <br /> IV. EFFLUENT LIMITATIONS AND DISCHARGE SPECIFICATIONS <br /> A. Effluent Limitations — Discharge Point EFF-001 <br /> 1. Final Effluent Limitations — Discharge Point EFF-001 <br /> The Discharger shall maintain compliance with the following effluent limitations at <br /> Discharge Point 001. Unless otherwise specified compliance shall be measured at <br /> Monitoring Location EFF-001, as described in the Monitoring and Reporting Program, <br /> Attachment E: <br /> a.
