The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for J & H MARINE INC as of November 22 , 2022 . <br /> Open violations from February 08, 2022 inspection <br /> Violation #119 - Failed to report accurate program data in the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> ( CERS) . <br /> OBSERVATION This business ' s hazardous waste activities have not been reported on the California <br /> Environmental Reporting System (CERS ) website . <br /> The incorrect EPA ID number was submitted to CERS CAL000309669 . The EPA ID number associated with the site <br /> is CAL000409058 . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Each regulated business shall report program data electronically on the CERS <br /> website . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately report your business activities including the hazardous waste program on the <br /> CERS website . Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> within 30 days . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date) . <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #204 - Failed to obtain appropriate permit to accept, treat, store or dispose of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION This facility, which is a hazardous waste generator, accepted hazardous waste from an off-site <br /> location without a permit to operate a Treatment, Storage , Disposal Facility (TSDF) . <br /> The hazardous waste is approximately 80 gallons of diesel . As per Eric Koster, owner, the facility received 80 <br /> gallons of waste diesel from a friend ' s marina , who was dismantling a boat. Eric indicated he had accepted the <br /> waste diesel because he had the disposal companies contracted who could take the waste . <br /> The waste diesel was not observed on-site and the facility could not provide a disposal record . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> California Health & Safety Code section 25201 (a ) Permitting of Facilities <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66260 . 10 Definitions <br /> California Health & Safety Code section 25123 . 5 Definitions <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately cease acceptance of hazardous waste from off-site in violation of Title 22 <br /> California Code of Regulations and California Health & Safety Code until a permit is issued by the California <br /> Department of Toxic Substances Control Provide a corrective action statement and a disposal record for the <br /> waste diesel to the EHD within 30 days . <br /> Page 3 of 6 <br />
