5.0 INTERVIEWS <br />5.1 <br />Interview with Client <br />Prof. Shaw was interviewed during the site inspection on May 11, 2021. She <br />indicated that she was born and raised on this property, and it has been vineyard <br />since at least 1958. Prof. Shaw stated that the house on the Site was built in <br />1940. A trailer home was located at the northwest corner of the Site <br />approximately 50 years ago, she said. The land is leased to Costamagna for <br />farming, she indicated. <br />Prof. Shaw stated that the irrigation well on the Site is approximately 30 years old <br />and 150 to 200 feet deep. In the past there was a different well in a corner of the <br />vineyard, but it was filled in many years ago, she added. The domestic well is <br />located inside the house. <br />Prof. Shaw stated that an aboveground storage tank located by the Quonset but <br />on the Site is not in use. She once found a container of oil abandoned by the <br />road, and occasionally finds dumped trash. She had no knowledge of any <br />underground fuel tanks, chemical storage, automotive or equipment <br />maintenance, or other environmental issues affecting the Site. <br />Live Oak interviewed Prof. Shaw briefly during the site inspection on December <br />14, 2021. At this time, she did not indicate any additional environmental <br />concerns for the Site besides the water test results for the irrigation well, <br />discussed in Section 6.2, below. <br />6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS <br />6.1 Environmental Health Department Records <br />Hazardous Materials Records <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department was contacted <br />regarding the Site addresses of 15766 North DeVries Road, Acampo. Laura <br />Sauers of that office indicated that no hazardous materials records were <br />identified (personal communication, December 13, 2021). <br />Well & Septic Permits <br />Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br />well and septic permit files for the Site address of 15766 North DeVries Road. <br />One permit was identified. The permit, dated January 1987, was for a septic <br />system addition at the house. A new system with a 1,200 -gallon tank, a 40 -foot <br />leach line, and a 24- by 10- by 10 -foot sump was installed to serve a new <br />LOGE 2123 4 <br />
