Photographs of
the Site are attached to this report as Appendix 2. Live Oak inspected the
structure area, the property lines, and the irrigation well at the center of the
property. The ground surface was not visible in places due to the presence of
vegetation.
The Site consists of vineyard with a house and Quonset but at its southwest
corner and an irrigation well at its center. On the east side of the Quonset but is
an approximately 550 -gallon aboveground storage tank; Prof. Shaw indicated
that the tank is empty. A small shed containing one -gallon chemical containers
was also observed on the east side of the Quonset hut. A pole -mounted
electrical transformer was observed to the southwest of the house.
Near the irrigation well, two empty containers of imidacloprid insecticide were
observed. Two pole -mounted electrical transformers were observed nearby; they
were marked with a blue sticker indicating they are free of polychlorinated
biphenyls (PCBs).
At the northwest corner of the Site, an old electrical box on a pole was observed.
Nearby, an object that appears to be a wellhead was observed within a small
concrete pad.
Several piles of wooden stakes were observed near the southeast corner of the
Site.
The adjacent properties to the north of the Site were a rural residence and an
orchard. To the east and west were vineyards. To the south was a vineyard with
a rural residence.
