Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
maps of Nitrate — Land Use Data and DBCP — Land Use Data dated February
20, 2019. According to the nitrate map (Plate 5), two wells within a one -mile
radius of the subject Site have been tested; nitrate was detected in one of the
wells at a concentration between 0.1 and 5.0 mg/L-N, and in the other well at
concentration over 10.0 mg/L-N. Two wells within a one -mile radius of the Site
were tested for DBCP (Plate 6); DBCP was not detected either well. The
Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) set by the US EPA for nitrate is 10 mg/L-N;
the MCL for DBCP is 0.2 ug/L.
7.3 Agricultural Commissioner's Records
Live Oak contacted the San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office
regarding agricultural use of the site. According to Hiromi Hernandez of that
office, P & L Costamagna has grown winegrapes on the Site in the recent past
(correspondence, May 5, 2021). A variety of agricultural chemicals have been
applied to the field, as indicated in the attached table (Appendix 6).
7.4 California Geologic Energy Management Division Records
The California Geologic Energy Management Division (CaIGEM) Well Finder
website was queried on December 13, 2021 for mapped oil or gas wells within
one-quarter mile of the subject Site. No wells were identified on the subject Site.
One well was identified within one-quarter mile of the Site. This well, the Porter-
Sesnon "Sesnon-Woodbridge Unit 1" 32-8 (API 0407700517), is located
approximately 200 feet northeast of the subject Site. It is depicted as a plugged,
dry hole.
7.5 National Pipeline Mapping System Database
Live Oak reviewed the National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) database on
December 13, 2021 for evidence of hazardous materials pipelines within one-
quarter mile of the Site. No gas pipelines are depicted within the search area,
though a gas transmission pipeline is depicted running along the railroad tracks
slightly farther to the west. Local pipelines which are not mapped by the NPMS
may be present in the area.
LOGE 2123 8
