SAN 10AQUIN <br />COUNTY <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: <br />Facility Address: <br />}ate <br />LIONUDAKIS FIREWOOD <br />20451 MCHENRY AVE, ESCALON <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS - - <br />(CLASS i, CLASS II, or MINOR - Nock& to Comply) <br />Item # <br />Remarks <br />105 <br />CFR 112.1(b)(3), 112.2 Failed to properly close tanks under the definition of "Permanently Closed". <br />OBSERVATION: The following tanks are not in use but has not been properly closed. <br />-12 aboveground storage tank of various sizes and shape was observed throughout the bone yard and hazardous <br />waste storage area without the words "permanently closed labeling" and date. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: When a tank is not in use, it must be permanently closed by meeting the following - y <br />conditions: <br />- remove all liquid and sludge from each container and connecting line <br />- disconnect and blank off all connecting lines and piping have from the tank/ container <br />- close and lock all valves <br />- post a sign conspicuously stating that it is a permanently closed container and denoting the date of closure. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Tanks that are not being used or are not addressed in the Spill Prevention, Control, and <br />Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan must either be included in your plan or meet the permanent closure requirements <br />noted above. Provide verification to the EHD of proper closure of the tanks. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />106 <br />NSC 25404.1.2 Failed to submit a certification and written response within 30 days for minor violations. <br />OBSERVATION: An inspection was last done on 7/27/2018 and an inspection report was issued identifying <br />information to be submitted to bring this site into compliance. This information was requ.red to be submitted by <br />8/2812018. This information was received late on 7/18/2019. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: 25404.1.2(c)(1) A person who receives a notice to comply deta.ling a minor violation <br />shall have not more than 30 days from the date of the notice to comply in which to correct any violation cited in the <br />notice to comply.
