S A N J 0 A Q I I I Irl Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNT <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> PETERSEN SMOG&AUTOMOTIVE 106 2ND ST, RIPON February 24, 2022 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br /> were: <br /> -One 55 gallon blue metal drum of used anti-freeze observed inside the shop with the funnel over the open drum. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. A complete report was <br /> finished on 02-24-2022 and replaces the initial checklist. <br /> Waste stream found: <br /> - Used oil <br /> - Used anti-freeze <br /> -Waste oil <br /> - Paper filters <br /> - Metal filters <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the complete inspection report. <br /> *******Note******** <br /> -The facility EPA ID is expired.
