Spill Prevention,Control and Countermeasures Plan *iwuu.o w April 2022 o.auvn WA Waste Disposal Method • Once the Designated Person or Alternate Designated Person determines the extent of the discharge to be greater than facility staff can handle, then Ramos Environmental Service will be called in to facilitate the cleanup effort. • The Designated Person or Alternate Designated Person at the Alegre Trucking facility will ensure that adequate resources are available to dispose of recovered oil and oil contaminated material during a response. • This effort will facilitate a quick recovery of the maximum amount of oil and oil-contaminated material, thereby reducing the risk and damage to the environment and property. • Periodically all cleanup equipment will be visually checked to ensure that all of the equipment is well stocked and in good working condition. • Annual training will be provided by the Alegre Trucking facility to ensure that responding personnel will know what to do in case of a spill or discharge from the facility. • Only trained personnel will attempt to contain or cleanup the discharge or spill. • If a discharge should occur, the Emergency Response Procedures outlined in the previous section shall be performed in a safe manner. • A❑appropriate PPE gear will be worn prior to cleanup. • All safety precautions will be taken to ensure no injuries occur. • The Designated Person or Alternate Designated Person will characterize the waste for proper disposal and ensure that it is removed from the facility by a licensed waste hauler and will ensure that the materials are managed in an environmentally sound manner. Refer to Appendix A—List of Spill Cleanup Equipment and Contractors • All wastes resulting from a spill will be containerized in labeled impervious bags,drums, or buckets. 31 Page
