9-"e. <br /> Frank C.Alegre Trucking,Inc. <br /> Spill Prevention,Control and Countermeasures Plan *iwuu.o <br /> w <br /> April 2022 o.auvn <br /> WA <br /> Waste Disposal Method <br /> • Once the Designated Person or Alternate Designated Person determines the <br /> extent of the discharge to be greater than facility staff can handle, then <br /> Ramos Environmental Service will be called in to facilitate the cleanup effort. <br /> • The Designated Person or Alternate Designated Person at the Alegre <br /> Trucking facility will ensure that adequate resources are available to dispose <br /> of recovered oil and oil contaminated material during a response. <br /> • This effort will facilitate a quick recovery of the maximum amount of oil and <br /> oil-contaminated material, thereby reducing the risk and damage to the <br /> environment and property. <br /> • Periodically all cleanup equipment will be visually checked to ensure that all <br /> of the equipment is well stocked and in good working condition. <br /> • Annual training will be provided by the Alegre Trucking facility to ensure that <br /> responding personnel will know what to do in case of a spill or discharge <br /> from the facility. <br /> • Only trained personnel will attempt to contain or cleanup the discharge <br /> or spill. <br /> • If a discharge should occur, the Emergency Response Procedures <br /> outlined in the previous section shall be performed in a safe manner. <br /> • A❑appropriate PPE gear will be worn prior to cleanup. <br /> • All safety precautions will be taken to ensure no injuries occur. <br /> • The Designated Person or Alternate Designated Person will <br /> characterize the waste for proper disposal and ensure that it is <br /> removed from the facility by a licensed waste hauler and will ensure <br /> that the materials are managed in an environmentally sound manner. <br /> Refer to Appendix A—List of Spill Cleanup Equipment and Contractors <br /> • All wastes resulting from a spill will be containerized in labeled <br /> impervious bags,drums, or buckets. <br /> 31 Page <br />
