Santa Fe Road, Escalon, CA <br />On, October 6, 1998, a meeting was held at 304 E. Weber Street to discuss abatement of the solid waste <br />accumulation at 23023 S. Santa Fe Road, Escalon, CA. Present at that meeting were, Dee Anne Watkins, <br />Robin Drivon (County Counsel's Office), Jerry Oberhelman (California Integrated Waste Management <br />Board), Jack & Elsie Merenda (Prudential), Alan Coon (Attorney for Cal State Mortgage Co.), one of the <br />owners of Cal State Mortgage, Mike Huggins, Al Olsen, Robert McClellon, and Steven Mindt (San Joaquin <br />County Environmental Health Division). <br />The results of that meeting resulted in an agreement between San Joaquin County and Cal State Mortgage, <br />that the solid waste which is located above the ground, of said property, shall be removed and transported <br />to a permitted solid waste facility. The underground material will be addressed after a site investigation is <br />performed. This department is requesting a work plan, which identifies time frames, final destination of <br />wastes, and addresses public health and safety issues. <br />The work plan shall be submitted to the department within fourteen days of receipt of this letter. The <br />removal and disposal shall begin within thirty days of the approval of the "work plan". Failure to comply <br />with these time frames may result in a formal enforcement action. <br />l <br />
