Because of this, an information bulletin from the City of Los <br />Angeles Department of Building and Safety is used, which states that 54 fixture units is equivalent <br />to 146 gallons per minute. It is recommended that each pump be sized for at least 146 gallons per <br />minute. <br />7. Recommendations <br />Based on the information available, the OWTS design will include the following components: <br />1. Duplex sewer lift station, wet well, and controls equipment with a capacity of at least 146 <br />gallons per minute. <br />2. One Fujiclean CEN21 unit (if required by County). <br />3. Septic tank with a volume of at least 4,200 gallons. <br />4. Five (5) leach lines at 100 feet long <br />5. Three (3) leach lines at 88 feet long <br />6. Seven (7) 60 -inch diameter seepage pits at the terminus of seven leach lines <br />7. Abandon the three existing septic tanks and leach fields. <br />
